Orientation Program of 29th Batch of PGDM Program of Apeejay School of Management

New Delhi, 29 July 2021: Orientation Program of the 29th batch of PGDM program of Apeejay School of Management commenced on 29 July 2021 with a lot of enthusiasm. Mr Seshadri Rajaram, Managing Director — India, Erhardt-Leimer graced the occasion as chief guest. Mr Shashank Jagirdar, Vice President and Global Head, DHL was the guest of honour. Both the corporate leaders inspired the young students with their own experiences and insights.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Rajaram emphasised the role of empathy as a prerequisite in the field of management. He also elaborated upon risk assessment as a pivotal element to meet life and work goals. On the other hand, Mr Jagirdar explained the global importance of supply chain industries and the various challenges faced by them during the Covid-19 pandemic. He urged students to understand the ground realities of the industry to perform better as professionals. He further motivated them to practice truthfulness and honesty at the workplace.

Earlier, Mr O P Khanduja, Executive Director, Apeejay School of Management, welcomed the students of new batch. He emphasized the value of time management while pursuing a professional course like PGDM. Mr Khanduja also encouraged the students to participate in co-curricular, extra-curricular and community service activities which help in holistic development of individuals. Dr Etinder Pal Singh, Director, Apeejay School of Management, proposed a vote of thanks. Dr Chhaya Wadhwa compeered the event on day one of the Orientation Program which will continue till 11 August 2021.
